Intown Bungalow

Back To Projects

When the owners of this Kirkwood bungalow came home and discovered their kitchen floor had completely collapsed, they realized it might the perfect time to move forward with some of the renovations that they had been considering for some time. Everything about the house was reworked except the family room and the boys’ bedrooms. Bold color and whimsy didn’t intimidate this young family – including a graphic designer, a financial planner, and two young boys. The kitchen was completely reconfigured and new blue cabinets and a glass mosaic backsplash set the tone. The new, large laundry can handle all the dirty clothes this urban family can throw at it in style. In the office, a black and white wallpaper with a whimsical pattern is punctuated with bold red accents and a copper pendant fixture. Her master closet boasts fuchsia walls, a gold ceiling, and a disco ball – because who doesn’t want to have a dance party in their closet?!?
